  1. Grab a whiskey or wine glass


  2. Burn the dried herbs on a wooden cutting board. "Soot" the glass by placing it on top as soon as the flame dies. Leave the glass in place until all the embers are gone, so that a smokey "film" forms on the inside of the glass


  3. Crush the blackberries in the bottom of the glass with a muddler.


  4. Fill up with the mead, lime juice and finally top off with the lingonberry juice.
